Review: Preborn Prodigy

Disclaimer: I received a FREE copy of this product through the HOMESCHOOL REVIEW CREW in exchange for my honest review.  I was not required to write a positive review nor was I compensated in any other way.

We recently received three amazing items to review from Preborn Prodigy.  They are Prayers and Blessing for the Unborn Child, Prayers and Blessing Newborn to 99 and Math Prodigy.   I am not pregnant nor do a have a newborn, but I was excited to listen to these blessings as well as see how the Math Prodigy might work for my son.  Sara Bumgarner, the founder, has a heart for children and a mission to see that all children know they are loved.  When we are carrying our children we have been told they can hear what we say and what goes on around them. What better time than to start blessing these little babies, telling them how much they are loved and praying scripture over them.
When my package first arrived I really enjoyed the graphics on each of the cd's.  I was heading out to run errands, so decided to pop in Prayers and Blessings Newborn to 99. What I noticed from the beginning was the gentle music in the background and the soft flowing voice.  As I listened to this cd it took me back to when I was pregnant with my second child and working on relaxation techniques to help labor.  While I listened I just felt a warmth come over my body and all my cares seemed to go away.  I felt so relaxed and calm after listening.  This cd has 7 sections for a total listening time of 54.45 minutes.  The sections are as follows:
1-Scriptures and Declarations
2-Protection and Provision
3-Spiritual Growth and Dedication
4-Identity and Destiny
5-Spirit, Soul and Body
6-Salvation
7-Blessing and Lullaby

There are some great verses spoken on this cd. Psalm 27 and Isaiah 41 were two of my favorites.    There have been some stressful things going on in the world since I got this item and I've found myself listening to this cd when I'm running errands or just doing things around the house. This is a great cd to play while your young children are playing in the house, it's great for the teenagers that are struggling to fit in and for the adults that are dealing with difficult times. I think we can all use a reminder that we are here in life for a purpose, we were born at the time we were suppose to be and we are greatly loved.  I think this cd is titled wonderfully in that anyone of any age can listen to it and be blessed.
My youngest son seemed to have a strong gift for math in his early years. As multiplication and division came into play he struggled more and more. It seemed he just couldn't always remember the facts and that made it hard for him to move on in math. When I first received Math Prodigy my idea was that maybe I'd just play it while he slept and it would be learning by osmosis :) He didn't really like that idea, so we popped it in and listened to it when we ran errands.  I thought the cd was going to be basic facts and that maybe just the way they were said, spoken or presented would be helpful to him. What he and I both found was that there were basic facts, but there was so much more.  This cd contains 5 sections for a total run time of 57:71 minutes.  The sections are as follows:
1-Introduction to Math
2-Addition and Subtraction
3-Multiplication and Division
4-Fractions
5-Decimals and the Order of Operations

I enjoy math, but I realized while listening that I'm a visual learner when it comes to math, so listening to this cd was actually confusing for me. My youngest is the same and so he didn't quite get from the cd was I was hoping.  For example going over the process of addition double digits was just confusing for him to hear and not see on paper.  However reviewing the basic facts was great for him.    The reminders that the opposite of addition is subtraction and that you can check your addition by subtracting was a great.   We all learn differently and I do believe that this could be a great learning tool for someone that has more of an auditory learning style.

I think for anyone pregnant the Prayers and Blessings for the Unborn Child would be a great gift. We all know pregnant moms need rest and taking the time out for mom to rest while playing these blessings over the baby would be such a great experience.  Most moms worry about the health of their baby, the ease in which they'll deliver and how they will handle motherhood.  This cd helps bond mothers and babies, while speaking over them words of blessings such as they are loved and wanted.  There are 7 sections on this cd with a total run time of 54.52 minutes.  The sections are:
1-Health and Delivery
2-Protection and Provision
3-Spiritual Growth and Dedication
4-Identity and Destiny
5-Spirit, Soul and Body
6-Salvation
7-Blessing and Lullaby

Our family and especially myself have been blessed with these cd's. I've realized that I, for one, am very touched by these spoken blessings and the calmness of the way it's presented really speaks to me.  I would recommend these for anyone, but especially those moms struggling to make it through the day wondering if they are enough.  Prayers and Blessings for the Unborn Child is available in several languages as well as there are quite a few new items coming soon. To keep up-to-date follow Preborn Prodigy on Facebook and Instagram .  We had 36 reviewers for Preborn Prodigy, so I recommend checking out how the other families use these cd's during our review time.
