I can relate to Lincee Ray's hatred of green beans. My mom tried to get me to eat them because they were a vegetable while Lincee's mom thought they were the answer to any issue. If you need a funny book that truly relates to your life then Why i hate green beans needs to be on your list of books to read. Lincee developed a love and talent for writing after she started sharing her thoughts on a tv show, The Bachelor. When she realized her friends loved her commentary and were sharing it with all their friends she realized she might have a talent for writing :) We ladies struggle with insecurities in all forms. If we have wrinkles, are we getting gray, are we overweight, etc...We have to learn to embrace the mind and body that God gave us and propel ourselves forward and not backwards. Lincee Ray helps to let the reader know that everyone has insecurities, but that's not how God wants us to live. This is a super quick and easy read that will help lift the spirits on any down day you might be having.
